About me

I’m an art historian and archaeologist, and I work as an assistant professor at the Faculty of “Artes Liberales” at the University of Warsaw.

I’ve had the chance to join the Young Scholars Academy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and I’ve been fortunate to receive fellowships from the Lanckoroński from Brzeź Foundation in 2016, the Kościuszko Foundation in 2018, and the Foundation for Polish Science in 2019. I, also co-founded the Central Eastern Europe Chapter of the Association of Critical Heritage Studies, which has been an exciting way to connect with colleagues across the region. I’m a member of the UNESCO Chair on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in Public and Global Governance.

What drives me most in my work are questions about the political and ethical dimensions of heritage. I’m also fascinated by digital heritage, archaeological museum studies, and the ways contemporary art can intersect with and challenge archaeological theory.
